On The Starting Line: Like a close disciple of NFG, The Starting Line got their beginnings at Drive-thru records at the beginning of this decade. This likely made Drive-thru records the most punk-pop label at the time. 3 albums deep, The Starting Line have found a new, distinct sound that won’t grab a lot of radio play. That’s why I still enjoy them. They were never a fad, and probably never will be.
